September Blog | A September to Remember at RCC
As the leaves begin to change and we head into the final months of 2025, September proved to be a month full of energy, events, and unforgettable community moments here at Reedsburg Country Club and 1924 Bar & Grill.
From packed patios to competitive rounds and exciting new traditions, here’s a look back at what made this past month so special in our September Blog.
Private Parties, Public Events & Member Fun in our September Blog
We were honored to host nine private parties and banquets throughout September, welcoming families, friends, and businesses to celebrate in our beautiful event space.
On the course, we held 7 Member and Public Golf Outings & Tournaments, continuing to grow participation and community connections. Thursday Pub Trivia nights also remained a hit with families and friend groups of all ages, enjoying a little friendly competition.
Our Card Tournament Sundays returned, with Single Deck Euchre on the first Sunday, Double Deck on the second, and Sheepshead on the third. Whether you’re a seasoned player or learning the ropes, there’s always a seat for you.
And on September 13th, we welcomed Matthew Schmidt for a live patio performance that brought music and memories to a crisp fall evening under the stars.
Building Momentum for Weddings & Holiday Parties In our September Blog
Exciting news on the event front — we’ve now booked five weddings for 2025 and 2026, including one that locked in just this month! It’s an honor to host such important moments in our members’ lives, and we’re proud to be a place where memories are made.
As the holidays approach, Christmas party reservations are starting to come in. RCC members receive priority booking and free room fees for holiday parties — so if you’re planning a company party or family gathering, don’t wait to secure your spot.
Looking Ahead: New Member Promo Launching
One of the most exciting things on the horizon: the 2026 New Member Promo launches next week! New members will get the rest of the 2025 season free and enjoy 2026 at 2025 rates. This is a perfect time to join the RCC family and experience everything we have to offer.
Be sure to spread the word — friends, family, and coworkers are all welcome. This offer is only available to those who haven’t been members in the last two years.
Golf Highlight: Inaugural Orange Tee Open
We introduced a brand-new event this September: the 1st Annual Orange Tee Open, played on September 23–24. With 83 rounds played from the orange tees by both men and women, it was a lighthearted and inclusive way to wrap up the month.
Even better, the event raised $2,000 for the RCC Legacy Fund, which helps support course improvements, youth golf programs, and staff development.
Special thanks to sponsors Kraig Knudson and Brian Strutz of NextHome Innovative Real Estate for their generous donations and for providing gift bags to all participants. Luke and the 1924 Bar & Grill team also created a special orange cocktail for the occasion — a big hit across the weekend.
This new event already feels like a tradition in the making, and we’re excited to continue its growth next year.
