Spring is Blooming at Reedsburg Country Club: March Recap

As the snow melts and the days begin to stretch a little longer, something special starts to stir at Reedsburg Country Club. The promise of spring brings with it a fresh sense of energy, connection, and excitement. Whether you’re already part of our vibrant community or just beginning to explore what RCC has to offer, our March recap proves there’s never a dull moment here.

Before we leap into everything April has in store, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what made March so meaningful at RCC and 1924 Bar & Grill — because when you’re a club that thrives on connection, celebration, and community, every month brings its memorable moments. This March recap provides a comprehensive look at how we celebrated the season’s arrival, one unforgettable event at a time.

March Recap: Events That Brought Our Club to Life

Our March recap wouldn’t be complete without highlighting the events and traditions that brought energy and joy to the club throughout the month.

We kicked things off with the return of our popular Tuesday Night Cornhole League. Held weekly at 6 PM, this casual and competitive evening brings people together for great conversation, plenty of laughs, and just the right amount of friendly rivalry. One of the best parts? No partner is needed — everyone is welcome.

Thursday nights continued to be a crowd favorite with our free weekly Pub Trivia at 6:30 PM. It’s been incredible to watch how quickly this tradition has grown. Each week, families, coworkers, and friend groups fill the space with laughter and spirited competition, proving that Thursday nights at RCC are something special.

On March 15, RCC once again took part in the Bar Buddies Reedsburg St. Patty’s Day Pub Crawl. With festivities beginning at Brewster’s Lanes, our team was excited to bring the celebration to the 1924 Bar & Grill. Members and guests enjoyed themed food and drinks, a festive atmosphere, and a safe, fun way to celebrate the holiday in our community.

Just a week later, on March 22, we hosted our Double Deck Euchre Tournament. The tournament drew a great crowd and once again reinforced the strong sense of community that defines RCC events — whether you came to play or just came to connect, everyone was welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm.

Dining at 1924 Bar & Grill: A Tasty March Recap

Any March recap would be incomplete without highlighting the standout flavors from our culinary team at 1924 Bar & Grill.

Throughout the month, we offered a rotating menu of weekly favorites that were as comforting as they were creative:

  • Tuesdays featured homemade pot pies that warmed up even the chilliest spring evenings.
  • Wednesdays brought out our half-roasted chicken with dumplings — a rustic, hearty dish that was always a hit.
  • Thursdays were for tacos, with a rotating lineup of flavors and fillings.
  • Fridays meant our famous fish fry — a Wisconsin classic perfected by our kitchen team.
  • Saturdays wrapped up the week with indulgent surf and turf specials, ideal for date nights or celebrations.

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, we also introduced a special one-day menu on March 17th, featuring corned beef and cabbage, Irish root cellar soup, and Reuben sandwiches. The dining room was full of guests celebrating with great food and even better company — another standout moment in our March recap.

Behind the Scenes: Team Updates Worth Celebrating

A major highlight in our March recap was welcoming back a familiar face. We’re thrilled to reintroduce Jordyn Melvin as RCC’s Business Manager. Jordyn, a Reedsburg native with over 15 years of experience in operations and hospitality, brings heart, expertise, and leadership to our growing team.

We’re also proud to recognize Bryan Yager, RCC’s long-time Board Secretary and 14-year member. Bryan continues to help guide the club’s direction and legacy, playing a key role in our growth and community connection.

Weddings, Events & Momentum for 2025

This March recap also brings exciting news: we have officially booked our fourth and fifth weddings for 2025. RCC remains a trusted and beloved location for wedding celebrations, and March reminded us why.

With flexible event spaces, a welcoming team, and a commitment to making every celebration unforgettable, we are proud to be a premier venue for life’s milestones — from “I do” to retirement parties and everything in between.

Looking Ahead: What April Has in Store

Our March recap wouldn’t be complete without a preview of what’s next.

April brings continued Tuesday Cornhole Leagues and Thursday Pub Trivia Nights. We’ll also welcome back the Reedsburg Players Theater for a four-night dinner theater series from April 2nd to 5th — a unique pairing of local talent and delicious dining. And on April 12, we’ll host the cherished Father-Daughter Dance in partnership with the Reedsburg Women’s Club.

Whether you’re joining us for trivia night or celebrating family at one of our events, we invite you to keep the momentum of March going strong all spring long.
