Reedsburg Country Club — Here’s What’s Happening! | April Blog

As spring awakens in Wisconsin, Reedsburg Country Club is buzzing with excitement. From lively events and tournaments to unforgettable dining experiences, March was packed with momentum — and as this April blog highlights, the energy only continues to build. Whether you’re a long-time member or someone looking for a vibrant place to connect, RCC and 1924 Bar & Grill have something special waiting for you.

Before we dive into all that’s ahead, let’s take a moment in this April blog to reflect on everything that made March so memorable and preview what’s in store for this new season.

A Look Back at a Memorable March

March brought a full calendar of fun and celebration to RCC. We were honored to host six private parties and banquets, welcoming families, friends, and colleagues for their special gatherings. Being part of these meaningful moments is what RCC is all about.

Our Tuesday Night Cornhole League and Thursday Night Pub Trivia continued to be community favorites, bringing together players and teams for weekly fun and friendly competition. On March 8, we hosted our “Taste the Day” event, giving our 2025 wedding couples a chance to sample popular menu offerings and experience the magic of planning their big day at RCC. Huge thanks go out to our chefs and staff for making this experience so special.

March also took RCC on the road, as Bob and Jason represented us at the Milwaukee Golf Show, introducing thousands of golf enthusiasts to the RCC experience. Back at home, we joined the Bar Buddies Pub Crawl to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day while supporting a meaningful local non-profit cause.

The month wrapped up with our successful Double Deck Euchre Tournament — and we’re excited to announce that euchre tournaments will now take place on the first, second, and third Sundays of each month. Stay tuned for more in future updates and April blog features.

April Blog Preview: What’s Happening at RCC and 1924 Bar & Grill

April is in full swing, and our April blog offers a full preview of the month’s highlights, happenings, and can’t-miss moments.

Our Tuesday Night Cornhole League and Thursday Night Pub Trivia are thriving, providing weekly opportunities to gather with friends, meet new faces, and enjoy some light-hearted competition. Plus, on Thursday, April 10, we’ll host a special Tap Takeover with Central Waters Brewing. Guests can enjoy half-off tap beers from 4:00 to 6:00 PM before Pub Trivia begins.

Easter Brunch is just around the corner on Sunday, April 20, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Reservations are required, and seating fills quickly — call 608-524-6000 to reserve your table. Pricing is $39.99 for adults, $17.99 for children aged 6–12, and complimentary for children under 5.

One of the most highly anticipated events this month is the Father-Daughter Dance, scheduled for Sunday, April 12. Hosted in partnership with the local Women’s Club, the event includes dancing, delicious food, raffles, and cherished memories. Tickets are available now at Viking Village — and they tend to sell out fast!

Meanwhile, 1924 Bar & Grill is continuing to serve comfort food with a creative twist. From our flaky pot pies on Tuesdays to half-roasted chicken and dumplings on Wednesdays, tacos on Thursdays, our famous Friday Fish Fry, and indulgent Surf & Turf on Saturdays — there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Every week, we spotlight new flavors in our kitchen, and you can count on the April blog to keep you up to date.

From the Fairways: Golf Season News in This April Blog

In this April blog, we’re excited to share that the golf season is just around the corner. Members will now find it easier than ever to register for events, tournaments, and league play directly through our website at reedsburgcountryclub.com.

One major highlight this spring is the 2025 RCC Pro-Member Tournament, scheduled for Sunday, June 1. This event pairs PGA professionals with RCC members for a full day of competitive, strategic, and fun golf — followed by a catered dinner and award ceremony. New this year, pros will be allowed to putt for their scramble teams and use their tee shots on Par 3s, adding an exciting layer of strategy to play.

Club Fitting Days begin April 30. These personalized sessions enable golfers to try out the latest equipment and receive professional fitting advice to optimize their game ahead of the peak season.

League play is also starting soon, including our popular Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday leagues, as well as season-long match play. Be sure to sign up early — leagues are a great way to get involved, meet other members, and enjoy weekly play with consistent tee times.

April Blog Spotlight: RCC Staff and Member Highlights

As part of our April blog, we would like to shine a spotlight on two individuals who are making a difference within our RCC community.

Jason Diekfuss, Assistant Golf Professional, is celebrating 10 years in the golf industry. His passion for the sport, paired with his dedication to helping golfers grow, makes him a cornerstone of the RCC golf experience.

We also recognize Randy Thomas, a longtime RCC member and Chair of the House Committee. Randy plays a vital role in shaping the member experience through operational enhancements and the development of club culture. His leadership behind the scenes is a quiet but essential part of what makes RCC special.
