“I have been a member of RCC for about 17 years and have been on the board of directors for the past 9 years, serving as Club President for the last 6 years. I am a partner in the Baraboo/Reedsburg law firm Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP with a practice that focuses on business law, financial institutions, real estate and estate planning. As a board member I was actively involved with the construction of the new clubhouse building and I am looking forward to guiding RCCinto the future. The Club has come a long way since I first joined, but we still have a ways to go to build into a long-term financially stable business that can maintain the value for the members for the next 100 years.”
Luke loves everything about the club nearly as much as he loves his three beautiful children, Paxton, Reagan and Dalton. Although extra time is rare, he does love to get out on the golf course with his members and guests whenever he can, but don’t expect a scratch round. Don’t be surprised if you hear a movie quote from Luke, with one of his favorite movies being “Tin Cup”, one of Roy McAvoy’s top quotes is “… when a defining moment comes along, you define the moment… or the moment defines you.”

“I have been a member for roughly ten years now, and I wish I had thought about RCC years before that, as RCC is genuinely the place to be, even if you are not a low-handicap golfer.
I was elected to the board six years ago and am now entering my 3rd term. I have been in the food and hospitality business for over 25 years.
As a board member, my objective has always been to make this club profitable and to carry on for another one hundred years for our families to enjoy as we do now.
In the last couple of years, RCC has come a long way, and it’s been enriching as we have had the opportunity to help start replacing the aging grounds equipment. Without sustainability, we will not be able to care for RCC properly. RCC has unbelievably talented employees who have helped grow RCC and made it enjoyable to serve on the board.
It has been an honor.”

“I have been an active 20+ year member of the club, my first term has been a great learning experience getting to know more details of club operations as well as the great staff and volunteers we have that make RCC a great place to belong. I am currently heading up the House Committee (previously the Operations Committee). Our committee has responsibilities for overseeing internal issues and opportunities within the club and assisting with some internal upgrades to our club processes., working closely with our Club Manager, an example would be rewriting and updating our Employee Handbook. I was engaged with the Boards’ Strategic Planning process this last year and am very excited for the direction the club is taking. I would love to serve another term to help move the club forward to provide even better experiences for our members and guests here at RCC.”

“I have appreciated the opportunity to serve on the RCC Board of Directors during my first year and look forward to the next year with some exciting improvements to our already amazing club. I currently serve on the House Operations and Finance Committees. I have learned so much about RCC through these committees because of the leadership and members that have shared their knowledge. I plan to continue to serve on these teams. I have Human Resources Management and business administrative experience in my previous career, and I believe I have brought a skill set to the table that adds another dimension to our already great club.
My husband, Scott and I have been members since 1996 when we moved to Reedsburg. We continue to enjoy the community of RCC not only through golf but also through friendships we have developed.
Our son, Kenton, was part of the first tee program and golfed some in his younger years. At 34, he has recently started golfing again and not only is he enjoying getting back to golf, but we also spend time together as a family, sharing this great game of golf.
We have five grandkids and our oldest grandson, Amir, has gone through First Tee as well and has expressed his continued interest in golfing. Likewise, our youngest four-year-old grandson is being coached by his grandpa on how to swing the golf club. Right now, Bronson is most interested in putting but the rest will come..
Again, thank you for this opportunity to continue to serve on the RCC Board of Directors!”
Robin Brenner
Robin Brenner
Hi everyone, I am Robin Brenner, and I am excited to be running for a position on the Board of Directors at Reedsburg Country Club.
Though I have only “officially” been a member of the Club for the last two years, I feel as if it’s been a lifetime, as I have enjoyed the benefits of being a member through my husband, who is an avid golfer and has been a member since moving to Reedsburg 20+ years ago.
My husband’s Uncle Ken Brenner was instrumental in getting us involved at the Club, as RCC was his passion. Not knowing many people, he took us to the Club when we moved to Reedsburg, where the community and its members immediately welcomed us.
This is how I want others to feel when they walk through the doors of the RCC.
Most of my background is in administrative work and bookkeeping. In my younger years, I worked for an attorney, drafting and proofing legal documents and dealing with human resource and insurance issues.
We came to Reedsburg to help run The Courtyards, a family business. I was responsible for all financial matters, minor tax filings, rent collection, and all things tenant-related. During this time, I also worked downtown as the bookkeeper for Lorraine’s, which owned four stores at the time. You might say that working with numbers is my passion.
Since retirement, I’ve enjoyed spending more time at the Club. I’ve enjoyed watching the Club grow, going through the renovation of the Clubhouse, and talking to and hearing about what other members think and feel about the club’s changes and growth.
I’d like to be part of the planning process, coming up with ideas to increase membership in our changing world and economy and make The club is a place where our members and their guests truly love to be.
I would appreciate your vote.
Thank you for your consideration.

Alex Bergenske
I , Alex Bergenske, formally declare my candidacy for the RCC Board membership.
With years of active involvement in the club, I am deeply committed to its success.
In 2020, I realized a lifelong dream of living on a golf course. I live on hole five, sharing this living arrangement with my wife and our youngest son. I actively engage in leagues on Monday and Tuesday nights and various club events throughout the summer.
I am fully dedicated to managing my business when not on the golf course. Over the past two decades, I have concentrated on building a growing business specializing in property management and construction, particularly in multi -family rentals. This journey has been marked by unwavering dedication, resulting in immense pride in my achievements.
Additionally, I serve on the RCC homeowners board, where I have successfully advocated for improvements to RCC and managed dues increases, focusing on enhancing the value of homeownership at RCC.
Furthermore, I hold the position of President of the Reedsburg High School Hockey Blue Line Club, with the aim of expanding opportunities for all interested in high school hockey.
My experience, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit make me a strong candidate for the RCC Board. I am enthusiastic about contributing positively to the club’ s future and upholding its esteemed reputation, ensuring RCC remains “the place to be. ”
Having served on various committees, including the golf course and centennial committees, I am well-prepared for this role.
Collaborating with the club manager, I facilitated contracts for a Tag Marshal and the new GPS, driven by my passion for enhancing the course.
Unlike other candidates, I actively engage with RCC employees to ensure ongoing improvement, whether through technological advancements like GPS and heat mapping or by supporting the superintendent with the necessary equipment for the future.
I am confident that my qualifications and dedication makes me the ideal choice for this position.

Jay Imhoff
Jay Imhoff
Hello, fellow members of Reedsburg Country Club.
My name is Jay Imhoff, and I am running for one of the positions on the board of directors.
Some of you may know me, but for those who don’t, let me introduce myself and tell you why I am running.
I am a middle school teacher at Olson Middle School in Mauston, Wisconsin, and I am in my 23rd year of teaching.
I received my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and my master’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
While in Mauston, I coached high school baseball, wrestling, and middle school football. These coaching opportunities have provided valuable relationships that have shaped my educational career.
Next, I would like to tell you about myself. I am married to Tara Imhoff. We have been married for 18+ years. We live in Reedsburg and have been club members for 5+ years.
One of the biggest reasons we joined the club was that it allowed us to golf together, get out, and meet new people. I grew up in the Reedsburg area and have lived here my whole life.
I have always held the Reedsburg Country Club in very high regard. Although I have played at many different courses and even worked at one, none have the allure of the Reedsburg Country Club.
Getting the opportunity to play a more active role in the club by running for the board is something that I have wanted to do for a long time.
I could help retain and grow membership, maintain the quality of the course, and provide a positive experience at the club.
Our course here at RCC is second to none in the area, but the people I have met and the relationships I have formed since becoming a member makes RCC 100% the place to be.
Thank you for considering me for a position on the board of directors.
Sincerely.
